Prof.Paramjeet Kaur Walia is currently a Professor in the Department. She has also served as head of the Department for two terms 2011-2013 & 2019. She has worked in different academic and special libraries in various capacities. Since 1989, she has been teaching in the Department of Library and Information Science, Panjab University. She has authored several articles/research papers which have been published in repute national and internal national journals, conference proceedings.
Prof. Walia Life Member of many Professional bodies and Associations and delivered numerous Invited Lectures at various universities and institutes, Conferences, Seminars, and Workshops.
