Highlights a number of copyright problems of book publishing, which developing countries of the world are facing. It includes paucity of book supply, lack of talent to write books, lack of realization that writing is the property of the author. In order to counteract these problems, it is suggested to create a climate in which there is an appreciation for the concept of copyright which can be done by educating and informing the people as well as enacting strong national copyright laws and international conventions. At the end it discusses the importance of and ways for achieving the economics of educational book publishing.
